Concrete sculpture, 2016

The title refers to the formal medical classification of a specific clinical entity. This sculpture serves as a visual record of my observations and a reflection on the very essence of the condition.

It is a story of depression. Through this work, I sought to capture the patient's emotional state - the internal stagnation, the paralysis, and the profound drama of the necessity to exist. Yet, it also speaks to the unimaginable strength that is born within a human being striving for healing.

While conducting art therapy workshops in a psychiatric ward, I perceived how a diagnosis determines both the patients' self-perception and the way they are viewed by the world around them.
