First finger ring

My return to jewelry after a break of over a decade began on a path to a medical clinic in Indonesia in 2017.

After a monkey bite, watching my finger swell and fearing its loss, my mind instinctively turned to the workbench. To calm the fear, I began designing in my head a silver finger - a prosthesis for what was threatened.

In mid-2018, that vision became my first armor ring.
